Journalism Master-Class
THE Press Association has teamed up with one of the UK’s leading universities to offer a new MA in Multi-Media Journalism.
Newcastle University and Press Association Training are offering the one-year course to overseas students and hope to attract applicants from all over the world.
Students will study at the university as well as undertaking vocational training with PA to achieve the MA in International Multi-Media Journalism.
The PA section of the course will be delivered partly at the Newcastle Editorial Training Centre and partly at Howden, East Yorkshire.
The emphasis will be on a multi-media approach with students being tutored in print, on-line and video journalism.
PA Head of Editorial Training, Tony Johnston, said: "The is an exciting opportunity for both the Press Association and Newcastle University to work together for the first time."
